Limited Warranty for Hybrid Tank ‐ Tankless
What is covered?
The Giant Standard Limited Warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship when the product is
installed and operated according to Giant wri en installa on instruc ons, subject to the terms within this
Limited Warranty document. This Limited Warranty applies only to products that are installed correctly.
Improper installa on may void this Limited Warranty. Giant strongly suggests that you use a licensed
professional who has a ended a Giant installa on training class before installing this water heater. This Limited
Warranty coverage as set out in the table below extends to the original purchaser and subsequent owners, but
only while the product remains at the site of the original installa on. This Limited Warranty only extends to the
first / original installa on of the product and terminates if the product is moved or reinstalled at a new loca on.

[1] For residen al applica ons the period of coverage is reduced to three (3) years on the heat exchanger and one (1) year on the tank
from date of purchase when used as a recircula ng water heater within a hot water recircula on loop, where the water heater is in
series with a recircula on system and all recircula ng water flows through the water heater, and where an aquastat/thermostat,
mer, or an on-demand recircula on system is not incorporated. A system that incorporates a con nuous recircula on due to mer
se ngs, excessive heat loss of the loop or aquastat/thermostat se ng will be treated as a con nuous recircula on system and have
a reduced warranty of three (3) years on the heat exchanger and one (1) year on the tank.
On-demand recircula on is defined as a hot water recircula ng loop or system that u lizes exis ng hot and cold lines or a
dedicated return line, and only ac vates when domes c hot water is used.
[2] Commercial applica ons incorpora ng any type of recircula on has a reduced warranty period of three (3) years on the heat ex-
changer.
[3] Domes c hot water must be heated directly within the water heater. When combined with domes c hot water produc on the water
heater may be connected to provide space hea ng either directly or indirectly for distribu ng heated fluid to either a fan coil or
similar appliance for space hea ng purposes.
