Getting the best results

Hard floors and carpets:

* The nozzle with the pedal is set to the type of surface
to be vacuumed: Position 1 for carpets (1) and position
2 for hard floors (2).
* Use normal setting of floor nozzle for carpets (3)
* Use the brush setting of floor nozzle for hard floors
(4)
Crevices, corners, etc.:
Use the crevice nozzle (5).

Upholstered furniture:

* Use the upholstery nozzle (6).
* Use the combination nozzle as shown in (7a).
Reduce suction power if necessary.
Frames, bookshelves, etc.:
* Use the combination nozzle as shown in (7b).
* Certain models only.
