7.1.1 Installing the Spectrum24 Windows CE Device
Driver from a CDROM

For instructions on using a handheld computer
in a Windows CE environment, refer to the Microsoft
documentation included with the Windows CE program.
To download the Spectrum24 Windows CE
device driver from the driver installation CDROM
to a handheld computing device:
1. Attach the 9-pin serial cable included with the
handheld computer between the desktop computer
and the handheld computer.
2. Click Start
3. Select Microsoft Windows CE
4. Select Mobile
A listing of supported handheld computing
devices displays.
5. Select the handheld computing device to be used
for the driver download.
6. Click My Computer
computer CDROM drive.
7. Click on the
Windows CE subdirectory.
The Windows CE driver files install in a temporary
directory on the desktop computer.
The Spectrum24 for Windows CE 2.x Setup
dialog box appears.
8. Click Next.
