All the operations described in this section must be carried out by authorised technicians or qualified personnel. LEGRAND® is not liable for any injury to persons or damage to things caused by incorrect operations or activities if not carried out according to the instructions given in this manual, with particular reference to the safety rules and regulations that can be found in Operating and Maintenance manual (see Chapter 3). - Page 5 6. Open the mains disconnecting switches (F L1, F L2 and F L3); 7. Open the battery disconnecting switches (F B+ and F B-) of the unit and of the ARCHIMOD® BATTERY units (if present); 8. Hold the “ON/OFF” pushbutton down on the control panel in order to discharge internal capacities.

6. Turn the UPS off keeping the ON/OFF button pressed for more than 2 seconds. 7. Open the mains input disconnector switch; 8. Open all the battery disconnectors of the UPS and of the ARCHIMOD® BATTERY units (if installed); ATTENTION: there are dangerous live parts inside the equipment due to the internal batteries even if all the battery fuse holder disconnectors are opened. -

ARCHIMOD®), it is possible to replace the battery boxes 1 KB at a time with the UPS On-line. This can be done on the ARCHIMOD® UPS and on the ARCHIMOD® BATTERY. Tutte le operazioni della presente sezione devono essere eseguite da tecnici autorizzati o da personale qualificato. LEGRAND® non assume alcuna responsabilità per qualsiasi danno a persone o cose causato da operazioni o attività non corrette, se non eseguite secondo le istruzioni contenute nel presente manuale, con particolare riferimento alla prescrizioni di sicurezza incluse nel capitolo 3 del Manutenzione - Maintenance ARCHIMOD®. - Page 11 Esempio: in un ARCHIMOD® 60kVA in cui sono presenti 3 comandi e 9 moduli di potenza, per sostituire il modulo in posizione PM1 verranno spenti i moduli PM0, PM1 e PM2 agendo sul comando numero 1 (il primo dall’alto).
- Page 12 6. Spegnere l’UPS tenendo premuto il pulsante ON/OFF per più di 2 secondi. 7. Aprire il sezionatore di ingresso rete; 8. Aprire tutti i sezionatori di batteria dell’UPS e dei ARCHIMOD® BATTERY (qualora presenti); ATTENzIONE: all’interno delle apparecchiature rimangono parti sotto tensione pericolosa dovuta alle batterie interne anche se si aprono tutti i sezionatori portafusibili di batteria.

Chiudere la portella dell’ARCHIMOD®. 1.6 Installazione/sostituzione cassetti batterie Sono possibili due diverse procedure di installazione/sostituzione dei cassetti batterie degli UPS ARCHIMOD® 20,40 e 60kVA e dei ARCHIMOD® BATTERY. Leggere attentamente tutte le seguenti indicazioni prima di operare sull’apparecchiatura. ATTENzIONE: i cassetti batterie devono sempre essere aggiunti/sostituiti a multipli di 3 (1 KB).
- Page 14 ® B) Installazione/sostituzione cassetti batterie con UPS in bypass di manutenzione. Tale operazione può essere eseguita sia sull’UPS ARCHIMOD® che sui ARCHIMOD® BATTERY. ATTENzIONE: in bypass di manutenzione il carico è alimentato direttamente dalla rete di ingresso. 1. Per portare l’UPS nella modalità di bypass di manutenzione eseguire i passi da 1 a 8 descritti nel paragrafo 1.5.1.
