8.2 Player control
The player can be driven by an external remote control, an automated system, a computer or any other
equipment able to transmit information in RS232 format with the defined protocol.

To remotely drive the player from a PC, we designed a software remote control. This software is
described in the appendices.
With this remote control, you can send commands to the player and remotely control it to update the
musical contents or automate play according to computer managed events.
RS232 TEST.
You can make a test to check the RS232 link.
1 - Switch the player off.
2 - Press and keep pressed the key
The player will send some characters to the RS232 link. (57600 bauds, 8, N, 1)
You can easily use the "Hyper Terminal" software included in Windows to carry out the test.
