Remove the three screws (H) from the FDD base.
7.
After disconnecting the FDD cable (I) from the system PCB,
gently lift the FDD base up and
toward the front
of the
unit.
At this time, remove the HOD mask panel
(J)
from the FDD
base.
8.
To remove the expansion bus cable (X), remove the two screws
(L) from the FDD base.

9.
To install a new FDD base, follow the above procedures in
reverse.
