Thank you for purchasing this scala rider accessory. With
this specially-designed Audio & Microphone Kit, you can
now enjoy the benefits of your scala rider communication
system when wearing your half-helmet.
This User Guide will help you attach the Audio &
Microphone Kit onto your half-helmet and allow you to
enjoy its MP3 player option.

Audio & Microphone Kit for Half-Helmets
ATTACHING THE CLAMP ON THE HELMET
The Audio Kit must be attached to the straps on the left
side of the half-helmet. Attach the clamp so that on either
side of the clamping mechanism both straps are grasped
by the front and back of the clamp. Once attached, the
headset unit can be mounted or released from the Audio
Kit at any time.
1. In one hand, hold open the
spring clamp at the top. Using
the other hand, hold the left
strap of the half-helmet. Insert
the long end of the back plate

and the short end of the back plate

to hold the back of the strap. Release the clamp.
2. Insert the left ear curtain
between the lining and
the outer shell of the
MP3 cable Jack
half-helmet, making sure
that the Velcro backing is facing outwards.

3. Where possible, align the half-
helmet straps with the Velcro on
the outer side of the ear curtains
and insert the strap under the
elastic band to ensure maximum
comfort.
4. Insert the right ear curtain in
similar fashion and place half-
helmet on head.
5. Adjust the clamp's location and
bend the microphone boom
so that the microphone is located
opposite the center of your mouth. Check to make sure
the yellow symbol is facing inwards towards the mouth.
