IMPORTANT:
Check and comply with all state and local codes that may apply to vented heaters before
beginning installation.
NOTE: This heater is designed to be used no more than 3000 FT. above sea level.
ASK your local dealer for using at altitudes higher than 3000 FT. above sea level.
CAUTION:
In Canada the flue pipe shall not be installed:
1.
directly above a paved sidewalk or a paved driveway that is located between two buildings,
and that serves both buildings;
2.
less than 2.13 m (7 ft) above any paved sidewalk or any paved driveway;
3.
within 1.8 m (6 ft) of a window, door, or mechanical air supply inlet to any building, includ-
ing soffit openings;
4.
above a gas meter/regulator assembly within 1 m (3 ft) horizontally of the vertical centre-
line of the regulator;
5.
within 1.8 m (6 ft) of any gas service regulator vent outlet or within 1 m (3 ft) of an oil tank
vent or an oil tank fill inlet;
6.
less than 0.3 m (1 ft) above grade level;
7.
within 1.8 m (6 ft) of any combustion air inlet, unless the appliance is otherwise certified;
8.
within 1.8 m (6 ft) of the property line;
9.
underneath a veranda, porch or deck;
10. so that the flue gases are directed at combustible material or any operatings of surrounding
buildings that are within 1.8 m (6 ft);
11. less than 1 m (3 ft) from an inside corner of an L-shaped structure;
12.
so that the bottom of the vent termination opening is less 0.3 m (1 ft) above any surface
that may support snow, ice or debris;
13. so that flue gases are directed towards brickwork, siding, or other construction, in such a
manner which may cause damage from heat or condensate from the flue gases.
