4 Replacement Procedures
Installing the MDC/USB board
To install the MDC/USB board, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-27 to 4-29.
MDC model
1. Connect the MDC module to the connector CN3010 on the MDC/USB board.
2. Secure the MDC module with the following screws.
•
M2.0×3C
3. Connect the RJ11 harness to the connector on the MDC/USB board.
4. Connect the modem/USB harness to the connector CN9770 on the MDC/USB board
and connector CN9570 on the system board.
5. Set the MDC/USB board into the slot of the base assembly and secure it with the
following screws.
•
M2.5×6C
6. Set the RJ11 harness into the slot of the base assembly.
USB model
1. Connect the USB harness to the connector CN9770 on the USB board and connector
CN9570 on the system board.
2. Set the USB board into the slot of the base assembly and secure it with the following
screw.

M2.5×6C
3. Arrange the USB harness and stick the acetate tape in place.
