The A795 ColorPOS ® two-color thermal receipt printer is easy to install, use, and maintain. Utilizing TPG, Inc.’s Clamshell™ design, simply snap open the receipt cover and drop the paper roll in place. You never need to change a printer ribbon because it uses thermal printer technology.

If it responds differently, look in Chapter 4: Using the Printer, “Troubleshooting the printer” (page 31) or contact TPG, Inc. for technical support. The native USB solutions The TPG, Inc. native USB solutions provide USB connectivity for applications that can talk directly to a USB port. This solution is comprised of two distinct versions: an TPG, Inc. vendor class and a USB printer class.
Printer drivers are available for download from TPG, Inc.’s corporate Web site. The host computer must have Internet access in order to download the drivers. Keep in mind that, as TPG, Inc. continues to improve its customer relations, the architecture of the Web site may change.
RS-232C serial port created by the TPG, Inc. RS-232C Emulation USB driver to use the printer. The RS-232C emulation is accomplished by the use of Edgeport drivers, provided under license to TPG, Inc. from Inside Out Networks. You need the correct model of TPG, Inc. printer to work with this driver solution.
