Connect your BeoLink Video
box as follows:
In the link room: Using a Beo-
Link cable, connect the flat
multi-pin plug to the socket
marked MASTER LINK on the
BeoLink Video box, and run
the cable to the BeoLink
junction box.
Using an Audio Aux Link ca-
ble (7-pin DIN), connect one
plug to the socket marked
AUDIO AUX LINK on the Beo-
Link Video box and the other
to the socket, marked AUDIO
AUX LINK (or LINE) on your
extra TV.
In the main room: Using a Beo-
Link cable, connect the flat
multi-pin plug to the socket
marked MASTER LINK on the
main system, and run the
cable to the BeoLink junction
box.
Inside the junction box: Join
the cables as explained in
the documentation enclosed
with the box. This document
contains information of the
many possibilities of the box
and how to join the cables.
Aerial connection
In order to enable distribution
of video signals from the main
system to the extra TV, you will
have to run an aerial connec-
tion between the two rooms.
Using an ordinary TV aerial
cable (coax-cable) connect one
end to the socket marked RF
OUT on the main TV and the
other end to the aerial socket
on the extra TV.
Placement
The BeoLink Video box must be
placed in a dry place, i.e. not
outdoors (the cables, however,
may very well be run outdoors).
Once connected the box should
be fastened to the wall – e.g.
concealed behind the extra TV.
