Loading a SmartMedia

Place the VU-V101 bottom-up as shown below

and slowly push the SmartMedia halfway into the
card holder.
NOTE Though it is possible to insert the SmartMedia the other
way up or the other way round, your PC will not be able
to recognize the card. Always insert the SmartMedia in
the correct orientation described here.
2 Press gently on the back edge of the SmartMedia
to slide it slowly but firmly the rest of the way
into the card holder.
Removing a SmartMedia
Grip the portion of the SmartMedia shown at
and slowly pull the SmartMedia out.
