My Jenn-air microwave oven will not heat up and plate will not turn. The start button comes on with the minutes counting down.

If your Jenn-Air JMW8527DA Series microwave oven does not heat and the plate does not turn, possible issues include:

1. Power supply problem – Check if the microwave oven plug is inserted securely and the fuse or breaker is not blown.
2. Blown internal fuse or faulty components – A power failure or internal fault may prevent heating and turntable operation.
3. Low AC input voltage – Inadequate line voltage can cause low output power.
4. Control panel failure – If the control panel is not functioning properly, it may not send signals to start heating or turn the plate.

Disconnect power before servicing to avoid electrical shock.
