Corrective Action

Putting control unit in maintenance position
If required for commissioning and servicing, the control
unit can be put in a different position.
Draining the boiler on the heating water side
1. Close the shut-off valves on the heating water side.
2. Connect the drain hose A on valve B into a suitable
container or drain outlet.
Note: The drain hose is located loosely inside the heat
exchanger compartment. On later models there
will be a factory installed sediment valve C
and the drain hose will be field supplied.
3. Open drain valve B with a key and drain the boiler as
much as required.
Note: The key is supplied with the installation fittings.
On later models there will be a factory installed
sediment valve C and the key will be required
for air bleed (see page 14).
