Shooting Issues
Problem
Cannot switch to
shooting mode.
Cause/Solution
Hide info is selected for Photo info in
Monitor settings in the setup menu.
Time zone and date has not been set in the
setup menu.
• The current shooting mode does not
support Print date.
• The date cannot be imprinted on movies.
The clock battery is exhausted; all settings
were restored to their default values.
The camera may become hot when used for
an extended period of time to record movies
or send images using an Eye-Fi card, or when
used in a hot environment; this is not a
malfunction.
Depending on the Autofocus mode setting
or the shooting mode, the camera may
produce an audible focusing sound.
• Some functions cannot be used with other
menu options.
• Some menus are not available when Wi-Fi is
connected. Terminate the Wi-Fi
connection.
Cause/Solution
Disconnect the HDMI cable or USB cable.
