14 THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
To remove the emergency key from the Key Fob, slide the
mechanical latch at the top of the Key Fob sideways with
your thumb and then pull the key out of the Key Fob
with your other hand.

NOTE: You can insert the double-sided emergency key
into the lock cylinders with either side up.

Removing Key Fob From Ignition

Place the shift lever in PARK. Turn the Key Fob to the
OFF position and then remove the Key Fob.
With the Keyless Go system, the EVIC will display the
ignition switch position "OFF / ACC / RUN". Refer to
"Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) — If
Equipped" in Section 4 for more information.
NOTE:
The power window switches, radio, power
sunroof (if equipped), and ignition-powered power out-
lets will remain active for up to 60 minutes after the
ignition switch is turned to the LOCK position. Opening
either door will cancel this feature. The time for this
feature is programmable. Refer to "Delay Power Off to
Accessories Until Exit," under "Personal Settings
(Customer-Programmable Features)," under "Electronic
Vehicle Information Center (EVIC)" in Section 4.
