Before Requesting Help

Problem
The unit does not work.
"Î" flashes and an alarm tone
sounds when you Z O.
A busy tone sounds when you
Z O.
You cannot dial.
"Î" flashes during a conversation
and the call is disconnected.
Static, sound cuts in/out, fades,
Interference from other electrical
units.
The handset does not ring.
The base unit does not ring.
You cannot program function items
such as the handset ringer volume
You cannot store a phone number
in memory.

• Turn the power ON (p.00).
• Check the settings (p.00).
• Charge the batteries fully 9p.00).
• Clean the charge contacts and charge again (p.00).
• Unplug the AC adaptor and turn the power OFF to
reset. Plug in the AC adaptor and turn the power
ON. Then try again.
• The handset has been cancelled or has not been
registered. Register the handset (p.00).
• Re-install the handset batteries and try again.
• You are too far from the base unit. Move closer and
try again.
• Plug in the AC adaptor.
• Another handset is in use.
• The unit is in call prohibition mode. Cancel the mode
(p.00).
• The dialled number is restricted. Cancel the number
(p.00).
• Key lock mode is set. Cancel the mode (p.00).
• The handset is out of range. Move closer to the
base unit and make the call again.
• Plug in the AC adaptor.
• Locate the handset and base unit away from other
electrical appliances (p.00).
• Move closer to the base unit.
• Turn the power ON (p.00).
• The ringer is set to OFF. Select the desired volume
level (p.00).
• The ringer is set to OFF. Set to HIGH, MEDIUM or
LOW (p.00).
• Programming is not possible while the unit is in the
talk or intercom mode.
• Do not pause for over 60 seconds while
programming.
• You cannot store a phone number while the unit is
in the talk or intercom mode.
• Do not pause for over 60 seconds while storing.
