Changing the playback speed (Pitch
control playback)
This changes the playback speed (pitch) of playback during playback of a
music CD (CD-DA).
o Increasing the playback speed

Press PITCH CONTROL +.
The "PITCH" indicator appears in the display, and the playback

speed becomes faster (increases) each time the button is
pressed (until the maximum +12).
o Decreasing the playback speed
1
Press PITCH CONTROL –.
The "PITCH" indicator appears on the display, and the playback
0
speed becomes slower (decreases) each time the button is
pressed (until the minimum -12).

Press PITCH CONTROL RESET.
NOTE
0 The pitch control function is only enabled when the Audio EX setting is set to
"Audio EX OFF". (v p. 25)
0 Pitch control playback cannot be used for MP3 and WMA files.

The "PITCH" indicator disappears from the display, and "Pitch:0"

appears in the display.
Press PITCH CONTROL RESET again to switch back to the
