    PRECAUTIONS DURING SERVICE Initializing This Unit Initialize this unit if you have replaced the microcomputer, one of the parts around the microcomputer, or the CD PCB. Disconnect the AC plug of this unit to turn the power off. Press the "PAUSE" and "OPEN/CLOSE" buttons simultaneously while inserting the AC plug to turn the power on. "INITIALIZING"...

    NOTE HANDLING AND REPLACEMENT OF THE LASER PICK-UP 1. Protection of the LD Short a part of the LD circuit by soldering. After connection to a circuit, remove the short solder. 2. Precautions when handling the laser CD mechanism • Handle the laser pick-up so that it is not exposed to dust.

    DISASSEMBLY • Remove each part in the order of the arrows below. • Reassemble removed parts in the reverse order. • Read "Precautions During Work" before reassembling removed parts. • If wire bundles are removed or moved during adjustment or part replacement, reshape the wires after completing the work.

    ABOUT REPLACE THE MICROPROCESSOR WITH A NEW ONE When replaced of the U-PRO (Microprocessor) or the Flash ROM, confirm contents of the following. After PWB Name Ref.
