Preparation for Storage

1. Change the engine oil and filter (page
2. Make sure the cooling system is filled with a 50/50% antifreeze
solution (page
3. Fill the fuel tank. Make sure the fuel fill cap is properly installed.
4. Check that the fuel valve is OFF.
5. To prevent rusting in the cylinder, perform the following:
Remove the spark plug cap from the spark plug.
Remove the spark plug.
Do not connect the spark plug to the spark plug cap.
Pour a tablespoon (15 20 cc) of clean engine oil into cylinder
and cover the spark plug hole with a piece of cloth.
With the engine stop switch in the RUN (
start button several times to crank the engine and distribute the oil.
Reinstall the spark plug and spark plug cap.
