DISK STATUS screen
This screen shows details of the hard disk fitted within the NAS. As well as the usage statistics, it shows the
NAS's current temperature. To protect the hard disk from excessively high temperatures, the NAS will shut
the disk down if it reaches 156°F (69°C). The hard disk will be automatically powered on again when the
temperature falls to 145°F (63°C). Check the ventilation requirements (see page 4) if the hard disk switches
off.
QAM TUNER screen
The NAS contains a QAM tuner to provide a path for future software upgrades via the coaxial cable network
(which is why you always need to connect the NAS, via a low-pass filter, to the coax network) . The NAS
searches for software upgrades using this tuner and the screen shows the current status of the QAM tuner.
