    Network-Attached Storage The DC900X Home Content Sharing (HCS) server is connected into a home network. It serves as a single network-attached storage (NAS) device for shows (content) that can be recorded by up to three “client” set-tops at different locations in the home. These set-tops do not have their own DVR capability – instead they all share the hard disk in the NAS.

    Connect an Ethernet (Cat5e/Cat6) cable between the Ethernet connectors on the MoCA dongle and client set-top 1. MoCA dongle If the MoCA dongle has a MoCA/CONFIG switch, set it to the MoCA position. Do not yet apply power to the MoCA dongle (you must do this after the whole network is connected up). If you want to move the NAS, first stop any recording, then turn off the NAS and wait 60 seconds before disconnecting it from its power supply unit.
