The unit locks automatically in the vertical position.
Restoring from service position
1 Grip the front edge of the unit and loosen the lock, fold
down and slide in the unit.
2 Replace the cutting height stay and the belt. Tension the
belt with the belt adjuster.
3 Fit the front cover.
4 Set the cutting height control to one of the positions 1-7
Checking the blades
To achieve the best mowing results it is important that the
blades are undamaged and well-sharpened.
Check that the blades' attachment screws are tight.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Replacing or sharpening the blades should be conducted
by an authorised service workshop.
The blades should be balanced after sharpening.

Maintenance
Damaged blades should be replaced when hitting obstacles
that result in a breakdown. Let the servicing dealer judge
whether the blade can be repaired/ground or must be
discarded.

Inspect the blades from underneath.
Removing the Mulching plug
To change a Combi unit from the Mulching function to a
cutting unit with rear ejection, remove the Mulching plug,
which is located under the unit, attached with a knob.
1 Put the unit in the service position, see Service position
for the cutting unit.
2 Loosen the knob holding the Mulching-plug and remove
the plug.
3 Replace the unit in normal position.
WARNING! If the blades are cracked,
whether caused by poor repair or other
damage, they could break while being used.
The risk increases if the blades are poorly
balanced.
