How to vacuum and use accessories
How to vacuum
• Press power switch to turn vacuum on
(Fig. 1). Turn air path selector knob to
'FLOORS.' Place foot on handle release
lever and pull handle back into position
for vacuuming.
• For bare floors, step on brush roll pedal
to turn brush roll OFF. For carpet, make
sure brush roll is ON (Fig. 2).

How to use accessories

• Push cord into cord clip.
• Step on brush roll pedal to turn brush roll
OFF, and put vacuum in upright position
(Fig. 2).
• Turn air path selector knob to 'TOOLS'
(Fig. 3).
How to use hose / wand
• Pull handle to release hose
(Fig. 4).
• Press power switch to turn
vacuum on (I) (Fig. 1).
• Pull out wand (Fig. 5).
• Attach tool to end of wand.
Stretch hose as needed (Fig. 6).
• Press button to reinsert wand
into hose (Fig. 7).
Crevice tool
Use for baseboards, corners and furniture.
Push crevice tool onto end of wand (Fig. 8).
Dusting brush
Use for furniture, drapes and vents. Push
dusting brush onto end of wand (Fig. 6).
Turbo nozzle
(With some models or available for purchase)
Use for furniture and stairs (Fig. 8).
Make sure vacuum is below you, pushed
against the bottom step (Fig. 9).
