my eureka air speed will not pick up
The Eureka AS1040 series may not be picking up due to the following reasons:
1. Full dust cup – Empty the dust cup.
2. Clogged or dirty filter – Clean or replace the filter regularly.
3. Blocked hose – Remove any clogs from the hose.
4. Improper filter, screen, or dust cup installation – Ensure all are installed correctly.
5. Fine dust buildup – Even if the dust cup looks empty, fine dust can block airflow and reduce suction.
6. Selector knob not set to ‘tools’ – For hose use, turn the selector knob to ‘tools’.
Check and fix these issues to restore suction.
