INSPECTION 3. Install:

Wear/Scratches/Damage --, Replace. Tighten the drain boltO while holding the piston

Never attempt to straighten a bent fork tube

Front fork spring free length:
Right side: 206 mm (8.11 in) 4. Fill:
I Left side: 225 mm (8.85 in) • Fork oil

i Amount (per fork tube):
ASSEMBLY 48 cc (1.69 Imp oz, 1.62 US oz)
Reverse the "DISASSEMBLY" procedure
Note the following points. 5. Install:
NOTE: • Spring
• When reassembling the front fork, make sure - Spring seat
you use following new parts: - Circlip
• Oil seals • Rubber plug
. Circlips and retainers
• Make sure that all components are clean be-
forereassembling. INSTALLATION
Reverse the "REMOVAL" procedure.
1. Install: Note the following points.
•Oil seal 1. Install:
• Retainer • Left and right fork tube into the steering
•Dust boot crown.

Before installing the oil seal, apply lithium soap 2. Install:
