10. Pour the drained oil into a suitable container and dispose of it in an
approved manner (page

Add Engine Oil:
11. Install the drain bolts with new sealing washers and tighten to the
specified torque:
Oil tank drain bolt:
18 lbf·ft (25 N·m , 2.5 kgf·m)
Crankcase drain bolt:
18 lbf·ft (25 N·m , 2.5 kgf·m)
12. Install the engine guard and the mounting bolts. Tighten the mounting
bolts.
13. Fill the oil tank with the recommended grade oil approximately:
4.9 US qt (4.6 )
14. Reinstall the engine oil filler cap.

If a torque wrench is not used for installation, see your Honda dealer as
soon as possible to verify proper assembly.
