High performance stereo music system for a small enclosed area

Connect the left and right outputs of the CD player
to the left and right CD inputs of Stereo Cassette
Recorder 4040-SM using a patch cord with RCA
plugs at both ends. The CD input sensitivity is
selected through a CD / Aux switch in 4040-SM.
A paging microphone can also be connected to the
mic input of the 4040-SM to make announcements.
Connect 2 nos. of high fidelity 2-way speakers
PS-300T (at 8 ohm tap) in parallel (resulting
impedance is 4 ohm), across the left output
terminals of 4040-SM. These form the left channel
of the stereo system.
Similarly connect 2 nos. of PS-300Ts across the
right output terminal of 4040-SM to form the right
channel of the stereo system.

Feed the Line output of 4040-SM (line output level
is 200mV) to the 200mV input of the subwoofer
SWX-200P through a 'Y' cord (with 2 nos. RCA
Plugs on one end and a ¼" phone plug at the other
end).
Place the subwoofer preferably in any corner on
the floor, with the reflecting port preferably not
facing the corners.
Set the Crossover frequency of the subwoofer to
120 Hz and adjust the volume control to obtain
optimum performance.
