Rhythm is one of the most important elements when learning music. It is important to practice
playing the piano at the correct tempo and with a steady rhythm. The CP piano's metronome is a
tool that helps you to achieve this by providing a steady beat for you play along with.
To use the Metronome:
1) Press the METRONOME button. The CP piano will start counting with an audible steady
beat. You will see Volume level, Beat (time signature), as well as the Metronome icon
appear in the LCD screen next to the Tempo value.
2) Use the BEAT, VOLUME, or TEMPO buttons (F2-F7) to select the setting you wish to
change.
3) Use the F buttons (F2-F7) or the Dial to change the values.
You can also adjust the tempo by tapping on the TAP TEMPO button. Simply tap on the
button with your finger three or more times at the desired tempo, and the CP will
automatically translate that into a tempo value on the screen!
4) To stop the metronome, press the METRONOME button again.
