If you have to tow the car

WARNING: If you have to tow the
vehicle with 2 wheels raised, make sure
the ignition key is in the STOP position.
differently, with the MSP system
activated, the relevant control unit
would store a malfunction causing the
indicator
to come up on the
multifunction display. This requires the
intervention of your Authorized
Maserati Dealer to have the system
restored.
When towing the car, make
sure that you observe the
road traffic regulations
concerning both the towing device
and driving conduct.
Before starting to tow, rotate
the ignition key to the MAR
position and subsequently to
STOP without removing it! Removing
the key automatically locks the
steering wheel, thereby making it
impossible to steer the wheels.
Position the gearshift lever in neutral
("N" position for cars with
"Cambiocorsa" gearbox).
When towing the car with the
engine off, remember that
without the assistance of the
brake servo, a stronger effort will be
required on the brake pedal and on
the steering wheel for steering.
Screw down the hook into its
seat (approx. 11 turns). Clean
the threaded seat before
tightening the hook.
