Replacing one type of exhaust
filter with another
Depending on model, your vacuum
cleaner can be fitted with an Active Air
Clean filter or an Active HEPA filter
instead of the standard Air Clean filter.
To change the type of filter, the Air
Clean Filter and the filter grille first need
to be removed, and the new type of
filter then fitted instead.
Replacing an Active Air Clean
filter or an Active HEPA filter
These types of filter need to be
changed approx. once a year. Make a
note of the date on the filter.

^ Open the dust compartment lid.
^ Lift out the old exhaust filter a.
^ Replace it with the new filter b.
^ Close the dust compartment lid.
