How to use your Mitel 1000 Feature Phone

Phone Setup

To select a different Ringing tone or display contrast

Press the Scroll Down Key ( ).

Select Rin gi ng O p tio ns and select a different ringing tone and Confirm.
⇒
Select Con tr as t Op tio ns and select a different level of contrast.

Answering and making calls

Answer a call that is ringing on the Feature Phone using the handset
Pick up the handset or

Select Answe r Th e Ca l l and/or pick up the handset.
Answer a call that is ringing on the Feature Phone using speakerphone

Select A ns w e r Th e C a l l .
Make an external call
Pick up the handset.
Press Line Key 1 or 2 or dial 9. Dial the number.
To select an IP line press Line key 3 or 4 or dial 8. Dial the number.
Note: For IP lines you must subscribe to a VoIP service.
Make an internal call

Dial the extension number (20 – 23 for wired, 31 – 34 for cordless), and

Transferring calls

Note: The following instructions assume you are on a call.
