PROBLEM
Compressor will not run
Motor hums but cannot run or runs slowly
Fuses blow/circuit breaker trips repeatedly
Thermal overload protector cuts out

Air receiver pressure drops when compressor

Excessive moisture in discharge air

TROUBLESHOOTING

Loss of power or overheating

SOLUTION
Check for proper use of extension cord
Check to be sure unit is plugged in
Check fuse/breaker
Replace shop/house blown fuse
Reset shop/house breaker, determining why
problem happened

Release air from tank until compressor re-
starts automatically
Call an electrician
Check for proper gauge wire and cord length
