Cleaning the fine filters

The additional fine filters collect finer
fluff, hair and detergent residues which
have got through the surfaces of the
fluff filters in the door and the door
opening.
The additional fine filters do not
need to be cleaned after each
drying programme.
– The additional fine filters in the
door and in the door opening
should be cleaned after 10 drying
programmes.
– The fine filter in front of the heat
exchanger should only be cleaned
when the Clean the filters indicator
light comes on.

The fine filters must be cleaned
thoroughly under running water.
They must not be replaced in the
dryer dripping wet. Squeeze them
thoroughly.
If the fluff filters in the door and the
door opening have also been
cleaned under running water, they
must be dried.
Otherwise they could cause
operational faults.

Always replace the fine filters if
they are damaged (available to
order from Miele).

1. Cleaning the fine filter in the door

Components of the fluff filter in the door
1 Fluff filter
2 Fine filter frame holder
3 Fine filter frame
4 Fine filter
^ Open the door and pull the fluff filter
out of the door as described
previously.
^ Remove the fine filter (4) as
described on the following pages.
