19. If condensation has formed, the machine may not function properly. To solve the problem, leave the machine for about 1 hour
in a warm environment (room temperature).
Service and Repair
1. Never try to dismantle or re-assemble the machine yourself. This may invalidate the warranty with immediate effect.
2. CAUTION! Never try to open the housing, because the device carries very high
voltage. This constitutes an injury risk. If necessary, please seek the advice of
our service centre or qualified professionals.
3. CAUTION! All repairs may only be carried out by qualified and authorised
specialists. Never try to repair the machine yourself. This may render the
warranty null and void with immediate effect.
4. Should your machine require specialist maintenance or servicing, please contact your authorised dealer or our service centre.
5. If any parts need to be replaced, please ensure that only replacement parts approved by the manufacturer or those which have
the same features as the original parts are used. Using non-approved parts, amongst other things, constitutes a fire hazard and
risk of electric shock.
6. After completing all repair work, you should ask the repair specialists to conduct a safety inspection of the whole machine, in
order to confirm whether the product is in an acceptable condiction.
7. If the drive components or optical lens is dirty or worn, the picture quality becomes poor.
8. CAUTION! If the following occurs, disconnect the machine from the mains and seek the advice of a qualified repair specialist:
• The power cable or mains plug is damaged.
• The machine emits smoke or strange smells.
• Water has got into the device.
• The machine has been exposed to rain or damp.
• Objects have got into the machine.
• The machine is not functioning properly, although the instructions in the user manual have been followed to the letter.
• If the machine is physically damaged.
Laser system
1. This machine is equipped with a Laser system. In order not to be exposed to direct laser beams, try never to open the housing.
Laser beams may escape if the housing or drive lock is opened. Never look directly into the laser light under any circumstances.
2. The presence of laser beams is indicated by the following warning.
Cleaning the device
1. CAUTION! Before cleaning, switch off the device and disconnect from the mains.
2. Never spray or spill any fluid directly onto the housing.
3. Wipe the display and housing with a soft, dry and lint-free cloth. This will remove dust and other particles.
4. If very dirty, use small amounts of neutral liquid detergent (not containing ammonia or alcohol) and then dry the machine with
a soft, dry and lint-free cloth.
Disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
1. If the product carries a crossed out wheelie bin symbol or if this is found in the user manual, this product
complies with the requirements of EU Directive 2002/96/EC.
2. All waste electronic and electrical equipment must be disposed of separately to domestic waste at the col-
lection points provided by the local authorities.
3. By properly disposing of waste electronic and electrical equipment, you prevent damage to the environment
and protect your health.
4. You can find more information on the disposal of waste electronic and electrical equipment from your local
authority or from the authorised dealer from which you purchased the device.
5. Before scrapping waste equipment, remove the batteries from the remote control in order to properly
dispose of them at the collection point.
