TURNING THE EZ-Edge-n-Store
ON
Once the unit is plugged in and you
are ready to start edging, simply push
the unit's safety trigger in with your
thumb while pulling up on the trigger
(under the handle) with your fingers.
See Figure 6. The thumb safety
switch is only for starting the unit
and can be released during edging.
To turn off the unit, release the trigger
and the safety switch will snap out to
prevent the trigger switch from being
accidentally depressed.

STORAGE POSITION
The Edge-n-Store Edger shaft can be
adjusted to an upright storage position
by lifting up the red lock at the base
of the shaft and moving the shaft
forward, into the upright position. The
red lock ring will snap firmly into place
in the upright position. See Figure 7.
EDGING INSTRUCTIONS AND
TECHNIQUES
Always keep the extension-cord
away from the area being edged.
Make sure the extension cord
is behind the edger. If you cut
or damage the cord, unplug it
immediately. AFTER the cord
is unplugged, inspect it for
damage and repair or replace it if
necessary.
Maintain proper balance at all
times. Keep hands away from
blades. Wear eye protection when
using the unit. Hold the trimmer
firmly with both hands and turn
ON.
Do not use the edger with wet
growth or in the rain.
CAUTION: If the edger becomes
jammed or stalled on a branch, sticks,
or foreign object, release the trigger
immediately. Failure to stop the
unit when the unit jams may cause
excessive damage to the unit's motor.
