Turning Off the Phone

Via the Quick List
1. Press and hold the
second until the Quick List appears.
2. Tap
Turn on flight mode
The Wireless Manager section on the Today
screen displays
Phone off
flight mode is turned on.
Via Wireless Manager
1. Do one of the following:
Tap the Wireless Manager section on the Today screen.
Tap
2. Tap .
Phone
The Wireless Manager section on the Today screen displays
indicating that the flight mode is turned on.
NOTE:
You can turn off the phone to save battery power. However, you cannot receive
incoming phone calls or SMS/MMS messages when the phone is off.
If you need to turn on the phone right after you turn it off, wait for at least 20 seconds.
