Connection Problems

Synchronization Problems

Make sure that no other connection is being used.
In some specific cases, A701 may experience connection problems when it
is connected to a Windows computer running ActiveSync 4.0. The
problems may be caused by the interoperability with desktop firewall
applications, applications that manage network traffic, or LAN
configuration tools. To resolve the problems, please tap
Connections
.

Make sure that you have installed the correct version of ActiveSync on your
desktop computer. Install the version ActiveSync included with your A701.
You can also check the version of the operating system by tapping
Settings

(Build 14955.2.3.0)." Check the first number after "14955" (your A701
may not display the same number). If the number is "2," you can use
ActiveSync 4.1.

Cable Connection Problems

before establishing the connection.

desktop computer.
