    PRODUCT MANUAL “Mi4” Voice Recorder : SB-VR8000 SETTING TIME & DATE Before you start recording, you’ll want to make sure the time and date are set properly on your Mi4. 1. Set the Record Switch to SAVE. 2. Set the Power Switch to ON. This will let the system Power On.

  • Page 9 PRODUCT MANUAL “Mi4” Voice Recorder : SB-VR8000 CONTROL MONITOR You can monitor your recordings live by using earphones. You can turn this feature on and off in the Settings. 1. In PLAY mode, press the M button until you see SETTING MODE.
  • Page 10 PRODUCT MANUAL “Mi4” Voice Recorder : SB-VR8000 RECORD TYPE / QUALITY SETTING Your Mi4 comes preset to the highest quality setting for your recordings. However, you can change this setting if you need more recording time. A lower setting will record a lower quality file - but will give you extra recording time.
  • Page 11 PRODUCT MANUAL “Mi4” Voice Recorder : SB-VR8000 BACKLIGHT You can adjust how long the backlight stays on with this setting. It can be set from 0 - 30. Set up to 30 seconds, and the backlight will turn off after that number.

    PRODUCT MANUAL “Mi4” Voice Recorder : SB-VR8000 POWER - OFF TIMER The OFF TIMER allows you to set how long the Mi4 will remain on when there is no activity. When the Mi4 shuts off, you can restart it by holding the PLAY button.
  • Page 14 PRODUCT MANUAL “Mi4” Voice Recorder : SB-VR8000 POWER - SLEEP TIME The Sleep Time setting lets you choose how long your Mi4 stays on before automatically shutting off, so you can listen to your files when you go to bed. You can set this from 10 minutes to 2 hours.

    PRODUCT MANUAL “Mi4” Voice Recorder : SB-VR8000 MEMORY INFO You can easily see how much room is left on the internal memory, and on the optional SD card with this option. 1. In PLAY mode, press the M button until you see SETTING MODE.

    PRODUCT MANUAL “Mi4” Voice Recorder : SB-VR8000 AUTO-RECORDING With Auto Record, you can set the Mi4 to automatically start recording on a particular date and time, and the end at a particular date and time. You will first set the Start Time. Then the End Time. And finally turn Auto Record ON.

  • Page 19 PRODUCT MANUAL “Mi4” Voice Recorder : SB-VR8000 PLAYBACK OPTIONS WHILE PAUSED In Playback Mode, while Paused, there are several options available to you. You can choose a file or folder for playback, or choose the Internal Memory or SD card.
  • Page 20 PRODUCT MANUAL “Mi4” Voice Recorder : SB-VR8000 PLAYBACK OPTIONS WHILE PLAYING In Playback Mode, while Playing Voice and MP3 files, there are several options available to you. Press M to access your options during Playback. The Equalizer - this option is only available in MUSIC Mode, while playing MP3 files.
  • Page 21 PRODUCT MANUAL “Mi4” Voice Recorder : SB-VR8000 PLAYBACK OPTIONS WHILE PLAYING You can REPEAT a file or a folder during playback. This is a great option for MP3 files. You can choose a particular folder of music, or randomize the playback for a mix of music.

    PRODUCT MANUAL “Mi4” Voice Recorder : SB-VR8000 CONNECTING TO PC / MAC WINDOWS - RETRIEVE YOUR FILES 1. Device must be OFF before connecting to your PC. 2. Connect USB cable to watch first. 3. Connect other end of USB cable to your PC using USB port directly on PC. Note: A USB hub may cause your device to not work properly.
