Note
The handset range is up to 250 metres
from the base unit in ideal conditions.
The stated range of this product is
measured in open field conditions. Walls,
ceilings and metal structures will
reduce the maximum range.
If you start to go out of range while
using the phone, you will hear warning
beeps. Move closer to the base unit.
If you do not move back into range your
call may be disconnected. You can
check if you are in (or out of) range
by pressing the

button when you are in
standby mode. The display will show
either IN RANGE or OUT OF RANGE for a
few seconds.

Your Quartet 3100 handset uses a
telescopic aerial that should be pulled
out when on a call to obtain the best
signal and reception available.

To select an alternative
channel during a call
Your Quartet 3100 automatically
scans the available radio
channels and selects the best
quality reception to use.
If you experience interference
during a call, press the CHAN
CHAN
options button.
Your caller will momentarily be
placed on hold. The display
will flash Seeking Channel and
your handset will select an
alternative channel and then
return to your caller.
To cancel channel seeking at
any time, press the CLEAR
button.
