Enter the certification name using the on-screen
keyboard, then tap [OK].
Press the
(Back) button to close the settings.
Setting the proxy server
When connecting via proxy server, settings are
necessary.

Turn on [Wi-Fi] on the device (page 38).

Tap [Wi-Fi Settings].

Press the
(Menu) button, then tap
[Advanced].
 [Use a proxy server]
 [Address]
 [Port]

Tap [Use a proxy server].
The check box is checked.

Tap [Address], input a valid address using the on-
screen keyboard, then tap [OK].

Tap [Port], input a valid port, using the on-screen
keyboard, then tap [OK].
Press the
(Back) button to close the settings.
Manually setting a Wi-Fi connection

Turn on [Wi-Fi] on the device (page 38).

Tap [Wi-Fi Settings].

Tap [Add Wi-Fi Network].

Tap [Manual Registration].

Register the settings.
The option items differ depending on the security
method. For further setting information, contact
the network administrator.

Enters the SSID (Service Set Identifier),
using the on-screen keyboard.
[Security
Selects the security method

corresponding to the Wi-Fi router.
[EAP method]*
Selects the authentication method.
[Phase 2
Selects Phase 2 authentication.

Selects the CA certificate.

Selects the user certificate when [TLS]

[Identity]*
Enters the user ID using the on-screen
keyboard.
[Anonymous
Enters an anonymous user ID using the

selected in [EAP method].
[Password]
When connecting to a secured Wi-Fi
network, enter the password using the
on-screen keyboard. A password may
also be called a WEP key, WPA key,
encryption key, network key, etc. It is
not necessary to enter the password
when [TLS] is selected in [EAP method].
* Appears only when [802.1x EAP] in [Security
Method] is selected.

Tap [Save].
The Digital Paper device connects to the wireless
network.
You can check the Wi-Fi connection status by the
Wi-Fi icon on the status bar (page 14).
