Power On/Off

Turning the Power On/Off

  (Power) button
 Charge indicator
Turning on the power

Press the  (Power) button.
If the Charge indicator blinks red 3 times, the
battery is depleted.
Connect the Digital Paper device to the supplied
AC adapter or to your computer via the supplied
USB cable to charge the device.
Turning off the power (Shutdown)

Press and hold the  (Power) button for about 3
seconds.

Tap [Yes] to turn off the Digital Paper device.
Turning it off reduces battery consumption more
than the sleep mode. It is recommended to turn
off the device when you do not use it for a
prolonged period of time.
The same operation can be done via [Settings].

(Home) button  tap [Settings] 
Press the
[Device Shutdown]  [Yes].
Sleep mode
To extend battery life and prevent unintentional
operation of the touchscreen, set the Digital Paper
device to sleep mode by pressing the  (Power)
button. The standby screen appears.
To wake the device, press the  (Power) button again.
Automatic power-saving
The Digital Paper device will enter sleep mode after 1
hour of inactivity. After 3 days in sleep mode, it will
turn off (shut down) automatically. The automatic
power-saving cannot be turned off.
