8. FINAL CHECKLIST

Before leaving a completed installation, correct operation of the dryer must be checked:
I I
Make sure all exhaust, gas, and electrical connections are correctly made
I I
Make sure dryer is level and feet lock-nuts are tightened
I I
Turn on gas supply (where applicable)
I I
Switch on electricity supply
I I
Following Operating Instructions, check the dryer operation
There are no installation adjustable parts on the gas components (except conversion kit). If the gas supply
pressure is correct, and these checks are satisfactory, the dryer should now be fully operational. If not, contact your
distributor for assistance.
On gas dryers the burner may not ignite initially due to air in the gas pipework. Allowing the dryer to operate on a
heat setting will purge the pipework. If the gas does not ignite within 5 minutes, turn the dryer off and wait for 5
more minutes. Make sure gas supply has been turned on. In order to confirm gas ignition and correct operation of
the burner (mostly blue flame) the professional installation engineer may remove the front panel and stacked pair
access panel to view the burner. WARNING – Do not touch any electrical parts and replace panels immediately
after this check. To confirm gas ignition at any other time the exhaust duct should be checked for heat.
