Setting the Disc Change
When the disc main story playback is finished, the disc
will automatically change to the next main story disc.
Setting item: AUTO DISC CHANGE
Setting contents: OFF / ON (Initial setting)
• The function may not be available depending on the
disc.
• Set to ONfor DVD video, and when"Playing back a
Main Story directly" (page 21) is set to ON. disc
change will be carried out.
• When a video CD (PBC ON) or DVD audio (VIDEO
ON) is played back, this setting is not available.
• Add the following sentence to "Displaying the Disc Status" on pages 15 and 17.
When an audio file of variable bit rate (VBR) is played back, playback time (--:--'--") is displayed.
• Add the following sentence to "Setting the TV System" on page 21 .
• If AUTO CHANGE is set, image may deteriorate from the original. In this case, press and hold PWRfor at
least 2 seconds to change the signal to NTSC or PAL
• Add the following to JPEG, DivXIID
About JPEG
While drawing JPEG (before playing back), "DRAWING" is displayed.
A JPEG drawing time may vary (from a few seconds to a few minutes), depending on the file size.
About DivXIID
• During index read, a displaying image of the previous file is held.
What is index read?
Before playing back. DivX read index information (Time map table: minutes and seconds of playback
images are shown in the table in which the file address is recorded) when special playback is required.
The time required to read this index depends on the file size. As file size increases, the time (seconds)
it takes to read also increases.
