  • Page 8 M I C PL AC EM EN T For the best performance, the Lavalier microphone should be positioned as close as possible to the sound source, without being subject to clothing rustle, gusts of air or dust. Also ensure the mic is pointed as much as is convenient towards the user’s mouth.
  • Page 9 F I T T I N G A N D C A B L I N G To fi t your Lavalier onto clothing and connect to your wireless system, fi rst securely fasten one end of your MiCon™ cable to the Lavalier. The RØDE spanner can assist you in this assembly.
  • Page 10 F I T T I N G A N D C A B L I N G Rest the mic in the loop so that the wire encircles one of the grooves on the mic’s body. Once you ease off your grip on the wire, the microphone will be held securely in place.
  • Page 11 F I T T I N G A N D C A B L I N G To connect your Lavalier to your wireless system, securely fasten the corresponding adaptor to the other end of your MiCon™ cable. The RØDE spanner can assist you in this assembly.

    Lavalier in any extreme environments which are overly dusty or moist, to prevent damage to the mic. To correctly fi t your pop fi lter, slide the fi lter over the Lavalier until it reaches the fi rst groove. Pushing the fi lter any further down will result in decreased protection of the capsule.
  • Page 13 To fi t, simply slide the mini-furry straight over the Lavalier until it reaches the fi rst groove. Ensure the fur is fl uffed up in all directions for maximum effectiveness.

    S TO R AG E & C A R E When not in use, always keep your Lavalier in the storage case provided. Close and snap the storage case for complete protection. Inside the case, you will fi nd a sachet of moisture absorbent crystals.
