ECTION
The SELECT buttons group controls the
SmartCraft™ System View display or System Tach
and Speedometer.
For Boats with System View:
SELECT button - When pressed and released
performs the same function as the SELECT button
on the System View. When pressed and held for
two (2) seconds performs the same function as
the HOME button on the System View.
Direction buttons - When pressed and released
perform the same functions as the direction
buttons on the System View. When pressed and
held have no special function.
For Boats with System Tach and Speedometer:
SELECT button - When pressed and released
performs the same function as the MODE button
on the System Tach.
Left and Right direction buttons - When pressed
and released perform the same functions as the
TROLL- and TROLL+ buttons on the System
TACH.
Up direction button - When pressed and released
selects which system gauge display to control
(Port Tach, Stbd Tach, Speedo). The selected
gauge will display reversed text for two (2)
seconds. Not Used on single engine boats with
one tachometer and no System Speedometer.
Down direction button - Not used

CAUTION
Use transom-mounted power trim switch to tilt for
trailering only. Tilting drive unit into trailering zone
while underway can damage the drive unit or engine.

A transom-mounted power trim switch is available
for the convenience of raising the drive unit to the
TRAILERING position while at the rear of the boat.

If equipped, your compass is located forward of the
control station instruments (See figure 2.5.1) in line
of sight of the operator.

When not in use, the compass should be protected
from excessive and prolonged sunlight. If your
compass becomes sluggish or erratic, it should be
serviced by an authorized repair station.
To keep the plexiglass dome free from scratches,
remove salt deposits and dust with a damp cloth.
An occasional treatment with paste wax will help
preserve the dome surface.
