Important Note
Pool Heaters have an internal automatic by-pass
system and do not require the external by-pass for
operation. However, if desired, an external
by-pass can be plumbed in for use if the heater is
disconnected or to isolate it from the hydraulic
circuit. In this way water would still flow but not
through the heater unit. When the heater is in
operation, this by-pass must not be used i.e. the 3
way valves must be set to channel the full flow
through the heater unit and nothing via the
external by-pass.
