Adjusting advanced settings

The DIP switch row
allows you to adjust the headset system to your
individual needs. By default, all DIP switches except for DIP switch 5 are set
to the upper position.
To change the settings of the DIP switch row ¸:
If necessary, disconnect an existing wireless link between base station
and headset (see page 23).
Use a pointed object (e.g. a pen) to set the DIP switches to the desired
position.
Configuring the handset lifter/hook switch – DIP switch 1 and 2

Adjusting the radio range – DIP switch 3
If many DECT systems are operated in a confined space, interference can
occur. In this case, you should change the radio range.
Switch position

Standard radio range
Reduced radio range
Use this setting in order to avoid interference with other
DECT systems.
Range of approx. 10 m indoors
