SETTING THE SPEAKER LISTENING DISTANCE
If the speakers cannot be placed at equal distances from the listening position, you can adjust the delay time of the audio
signals from the center and surround speakers.
1. Press the SETUP/MENU button on the remote control.
• Each time the button is pressed, the mode switches between SETUP
ENTER and SETUP OFF.
2. Press the ENTER button to select SETUP ENTER.
3. Press the A T buttons to select SPK DISTANCE, and then press the
ENTER or

• Each time you press the A T buttons, F.L -7 F.R-7 CEN -7 S.L -7 S.R
-7 SBL -7 SBR -7 SW will be selected in turn.

Press the A T buttons to set the Speaker Distance.
• For the FRONT LEFT, FRONT RIGHT, CENTER, SURR. LEFT,
SURR. RIGHT, SURRBACK.LEFT, SURRBACK.RIGHT and SUBWOOFER Speakers, you can set the distance
from the speaker to listening position between 1ft - 30ft (O.3-9.0m) in intervals of 1ft (O.3m).
- To exit setup mode-
• Press the SETUP/MENU button on the remote control.
SETUP OFF appears on the display and Setup Mode is exited.
- Setting Speaker Distance -
Set the distance from the speaker to listening position in intervals of 1ft(O.3m).
• F.L (front left) : 1ft - 30ft
• SW (subwoofer) : 1ft - 30ft
• F.R (front right) : 1ft - 30ft
• SBL (surround back left) : 1ft - 30ft

If the listening position is beyond the range of the speaker distance setup, set the speaker distance to the
maximum.
• The distance range of the overall speaker system is determined based on the F.L (front left) speaker
distance from the listening position.

• If Dolby Pro Logic liz is set to On, the Surround Back speaker (SBUSBR) is changed to the Front Height
Speaker (FHUFHR).
