SYMPTOM
Buzzer alarm is sounded.
LED (2) is orange.
There is no AC output.
AC output voltage shuts down when
vehicles engine is cranked
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Shut-down due to over temperature
because of fan failure or inadequate
cooling as a result of high ambient
temperature or insufficient air exchange
The inverter has been powered from the
starting battery. The battery voltage
drops below 10 V when the engine is
cranked.

REMEDY
1. Check that the fan is working. If not,
the fan / fan control circuit may be
defective. Call Technical Support.
2. If the fan is working, check that the
ventilation slots on the suction side and
the openings on the discharge side of
the fan are not obstructed.
3. If the fan is working and the
openings are not obstructed, check that
enough cool replacement air is
available. Also check that the ambient
air temperature is less than 40º C
4. Reduce the load to reduce the
heating effect.
5. After the cause of over heating is
removed and the unit cools down, it
will reset automatically.
Use a separate deep cycle battery for
powering the inverter. (see page 18)
